Aberdeen University visits University of Iceland

The University of Iceland welcomes Aberdeen University!

The University of Iceland welcomed a group from the University of Aberdeen last week. The group of 8 senior staff was led by Margaret Ross, Vice-Principal for People Strategy and Aurora Institutional Coordinator.  University of Aberdeen runs an International Leadership Development Programme for senior staff, and a part of that programme is to go on an international fact-finding trip. As Aurora partners, the University of Iceland was happy to host the group from Aberdeen and a visit for the week February 12-18, 2108 was arranged. In addition to meetings at the University of Iceland itself, the group had meetings with the Ministry of Education, Research and Culture and the Icelandic Centre for Research (Rannis).  The visit was enjoyable for both parties, and a fine example of the cooperation between partner universities in the Aurora network.
