European Commission: No more boxes ticking in QA in HE

Last week, the European Commission published its progress report on quality assurance in higher education. It signals that the vast majority of HE institutions has now established procedures for QA, but that there is a continuing tendency to focus on process rather than content, quality and outcome. The Commission identifies gaps in QA contribution to widening access, improving employability, internationalisation, and improving doctoral education.
