Last week, at Vrije Universiteit, the final Mastermind Europe conference was held, presenting its toolkit for a more diverse international classroom. The conference brought together a broad group of academics and administrators with a shared concern about the best way to handle the increasing diversity of Master’s applicants. It turned out to be the first meeting of its kind: academics and administrators from the various disciplinary and national background, interested to learn across borders how to improve both domestic and international admission. A first meeting whetting the appetite for more regular returns of the event and maybe the birth of a European Association of Master’s Admission Professionals.
