Graduate Destination Survey of the 2010 Graduates from Western Cape; an example for Amsterdam?

VU International News and Reviews No. 20 January 6 2014

January 2014

The universities in the Western Cape Province of South Africa have jointly conducted a survey of the pathway to employments among the 2010 graduates. The survey shows actual and intended emigration to be a significant factor, with 5.7% of the cohort already emigrated and another 5.2% intending to. The report is relevant because it shows the significant brain drain that South Africa faces; it is also important as an example of post-graduation employment studies of a region rather than an individual university
