A recent report by the College Board in the USA shows that holders of a Bachelor’s degree over a 40 years working life earn 65 % more than those with only secondary education. On average, graduates will have earned enough to compensate for tuition and the 4 years without earnings by the time they are 36 years old. In addition, the report shows higher job satisfaction and better health statistics for college graduates.
This American report aligns well with broader statistical data by the OECD in Education at a Glance.
