VU International News and Reviews No. 22 February 03 2014

February 2014

Last week, the Association of American Colleges & Universities released a report that debunks the myth that long term earnings and career paths of Liberal Arts majors are (much) less than with professional or pre professional majors.
At the peak earning age of 56-60, liberal arts majors on average earn $ 2 000 more than professional or pre-professional majors. Unemployment for mature Liberal Arts majors is marginally (3.5% -3.1%) higher.
