VU International News and Reviews No. 22 February 03 2014

February 2014

Last month, the EU and South Africa have agreed to step up cooperation in the fields of global health research, earth observation and research infrastructures. The Global Health activities are presented as a presentation of the European and Developing Countries’ Clinical Trials Partnership; the earth observation activities will be put in the context of the post-2015 strategy for the Group on Earth Observations (GEO).

On 14 January, the FP7-funded bilateral cooperation project ESASTAP Plus, has organised an information seminar on South Africa’s participation in the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.
