VU International News and Reviews No. 17 November 11 2013

November 2013

After the 34 OECD countries approved the roadmap for accession, the OECD secretary general has launched Colombia’s accession process to the OECD on October 25th.

The OECD sees Colombia as an important new partner, with very interesting experience in areas such as administrative simplification, e-governance, green public transport, technologies for the control of transit operations, student loan support systems. With 47 million citizens and the third largest economy in Latin America, Colombia will greatly enrich the OECD acquis with its varied experiences.
