Teacher education as key to Indonesia’s knowledge infrastructure

In a newly published report of the Institute of International Education, researchers from the Center for International Studies in Educational Research and Development at Florida State University highlight global indicators which point to poor teacher education in Indonesia as the key to the overall problem with quality of education. Quality of education is the key to the development of Indonesia’s knowledge infrastructure in higher education and research and international collaboration can add significantly to Indonesia’s ability to achieve its goals.
