UK ‘fly in, fly out’ scholars fail to take off in China

38.000 students in China are studying for degrees from ca 70 UK universities. But “fly-in, fly-out” British teachers are a source of frustration, Times Higher Education reports. Most students interviewed by the British QAA (Quality Assurance Agency) during a two-week visit to China last year expressed a desire for “more face-to-face contact with academic staff from the relevant UK university.
