The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) brings together international education leaders into dialogue with each other, their counterparts around the world, organizations that promote international education, and organizations concerned with the shaping and management of international higher education
The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) is an association of senior international officers (vice rectors, vice provosts, directors). It is originally an American organisation, but is attracting increasing numbers of senior international officers from universities in Europe, Australia, Asia and other parts of the world.
Its annual conference brings together some 1500 participants discussing recent and expected trends and exchanging best practices in various aspects of internationalisation in higher education and its anchoring in overall institutional strategy. Aurora was present at university president level at the AIEA conferences in 2017 and 2018. For the 2019 conference it will propose sessions on “Inclusive Internationalisation” (in cooperation with the University of Minnesota) and on the impact of university networks (with Universitas 21).
For Aurora, AIEA is an important platform to discuss and mirror its core priorities with key players in North America and the world.
