Aurora member university, University of East Anglia, is keen to share a new job opening at the Faculty of Science – School of Computing Sciences.
The University of East Anglia is looking for an internationally recognised research leader in Computing Sciences to provide leadership and help shape the research development and ambitions of the School. Candidates will be expected to have an outstanding publication portfolio and a sustained record of substantial external funding.
The School’s current research areas in computer science include graphics, vision, speech, machine learning and computational biology. UEA is interested in candidates who research within any relevant field of computing sciences, but preference will be given to those who can strengthen existing research groupings and the School’s industrial and enterprise activities.
The appointee will be expected to engage in high-quality research; actively contribute to teaching; provide academic leadership involving the development and management of research programmes, education and enterprise activities; and undertake relevant administration within the School.
UEA particularly welcomes applications from suitably qualified female academics as they are currently under-represented in senior positions within the School.
