January 14-15, 2019
On the 14th and 15th of January, library directors of the Aurora Universities Network will attend the Aurora Library Directors meeting. During these two intensive days each university library will provide an overview of their local library organization.
Although Aurora activities have a clear focus on what the university presidents have defined as the key priorities, others in the Aurora network also see the potential to exchange information on the issues that are high on their agendas.
Meetings in this contexts have been dubbed “birds of a feather” meetings: administrators or academics with similar interests meeting outside the context of the key priorities of Diversity, Societal Impact & Relevance of Research, Student Engagement, and Innovation of Teaching & Learning.
Hence, a meeting of the University Librarians of the Aurora Universities Network is realised on January 14th and 15th. The Aurora Universities Network aims to exchange academic excellence matched with a clear focus on societal impact that contribute to society. The program includes presentations from a selection of the member universities, overview of key activities, and discussions on developments on open science and student communities.
