Green Film Festival @UEA

May 3-5, 2018

University of East Anglia

Introduction

The Green Film Festival @UEA is an exciting programme of free screenings and events, presenting and bringing together intersecting interests in environmental issues and film.

This year’s Green Film Festival @UEA films explore global issues while highlighting reasons to remain optimistic. Think global, act local: where are the opportunities for positive personal action?

The Festival aims to generate conversation around global environmental challenges and solutions, and everyone is welcome!

Each film will be accompanied by a short talk by an expert speaker. These events support UEA’s internationally renowned environmental research and ethos.

  • Thursday, 3 May: THANK YOU FOR THE RAIN
  • Friday, 4 May: DUSK CHORUS
  • Saturday, 5 May: DEMAIN; EVOLUTION OF ORGANIC; and OKJA
  • Saturday will also host an interactive exhibition featuring artists, stalls from local organisations and a ‘Climate Cafe’ film workshop.

The Festival is part of UEA Sustainability Team’s annual programme of events, and is the product of collaboration between the operational and academic sides of the University as well as the local community.

Further information is available on the Festival website.
