Meet up to Speed up: a community building event around the Aurora Alliance

January 23, 2020

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Our universities[1] joined forces in the Aurora Alliance for a bid on the Erasmus+ program on “European Universities”. The proposed project will intensify our collaboration, among others in joint teaching.

The Meet up to Speed up event aims to bring academic staff from the Alliance together to discuss in small groups the possibilities for forms of jointness in teaching programs. The idea is that degree programs of Aurora universities will benefit from connecting them to similar programs of partners. That could take the form of physical or virtual interactions between students from multiple sites, the exchange of teaching staff, the use of online modules from partners, and the like.

We are looking for Academic Staff with a strong connection to one of the four pilot domains and/or the central theme:

  1. Sustainability & Climate Change
  2. Digital Society & Global Citizenship
  3. Health & Wellbeing
  4. Culture: Diversity and Identity
  5. Social entrepreneurship and Innovation (central theme)

Should you be interested in exploring these possibilities for your group or teaching program, please fill in the form through the following link by January 6.

To prepare for the meeting, we will distribute the participants’ list beforehand to everyone to allow us to make appointments for you for effective and efficient spending of your time.
