Aurora Universities Network is delighted to announce that the University of Aberdeen will be hosting its sustainability Lecture Serie on Rice - The World's Favourite Food: Towards Healthier, More Resilient and More Sustainable.
On World Food Day, October 16, the lecture on rice will consider how we can address three of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Zero hunger, No Poverty and Climate Action.
The lecture, delivered by Professor Adam Price, will consider how the future of rice production will affect food supplies, employment and climate change. You’ll also hear how you can reduce your own carbon footprint through the food you eat. Tune in from –
